Kazakstan - Finland - Air Services Agreement


The Finland - Kazakstan Air Services Agreement was signed in 1996 and it has entered into force.

Designation principles

Single designation. A designation may be refused if one Party is not satisfied that substantial ownership
and effective control of a designated airline are vested in the Party designating the airline or in its
nationals.

Traffic rights for the designated airline of Finland

Route possibilities: Points in Finland - Any intermediate point(s) - Points in Kazakstan - Any point(s) beyond. Fifth freedom rights may be exercised only to the extent this is separately agreed between the aeronautical authorities. Unused traffic rights are presently available.

Capacity regime

Bermuda principles apply. Traffic programmes shall be submitted for approval.

Tariff regime

Double approval. Tacit approval if no response within 20 days after the date of filing.
