Israel - Finland - Air Services Agreement


The Finland - Israel Air Services Agreement was signed in 1997 and it has entered into force.

Designation principles

Single designation. A designation may be refused if one Party is not satisfied that effective oversight of
the designated airline is maintained in the territory of the other Party and that the airline is incorporated
and has its principal place of business in the said territory.

Traffic rights for the designated airline of Finland

Route possibilities: Points in Finland - Any intermediate point named by Finland - Points in Israel - Any beyond point named by Finland. Fifth freedom rights may be exercised only if an agreement to that effect is made between the aeronautical authorities. Unused traffic rights are presently available.

Capacity regime

Bermuda principles apply. Traffic programmes shall be submitted for approval.

Tariff regime

Double approval. Tacit approval if no response within 20 days after the date of filing.
