Indonesia - Finland - Air Services Agreement


The Finland - Indonesia Air Services Agreement was signed in 1997. Although the agreement has not
yet entered into force its provisions are implemented provisionally.

Designation principles

Multiple designation. A designation may be refused if one Party is not satisfied that substantial ownership
and effective control of a designated airline are vested in the Party designating the airline or in its nationals.

Traffic rights for the designated airlines of Finland

Route possibilities: Points in Finland - Two intermediate points - Jakarta and one other point (except Denpasar) - Two points beyond. Fifth freedom rights are subject to an agreement between the aeronautical authorities. Unused traffic rights are presently available.

Capacity regime

Bermuda principles. The capacity to be provided and the frequency of services to be operated shall be agreed between the aeronautical authorities.

Tariff regime

Double approval. Tacit approval if no response within 20 days after the date of filing.
