Hong Kong - Finland - Air Services Agreement


The Finland - Hong Kong SAR Air Services Agreement was signed in2000 and it is in force.

Designation principles

Multiple designation. A designation may be refused by Hong Kong in case it is not satisfied that
substantial ownership and effective control of a Finnish designated airline are vested in the Government
of Finland or its nationals.

Traffic rights for designated airlines of Finland

Route possibilities: Points in Finland - Intermediate points (excluding points in mainland China) - Hong Kong - Points beyond (excluding points in mainland China). Fifth freedom rights may be used only at a point/points jointly determined by the aeronautical authorities. Certain unused traffic rights are presently available.

Capacity regime

Bermuda principles. The capacity to be provided shall be jointly determined by the aeronautical authorities.

Tariff regime

Double approval. Tacit approval if no response within 30 days after the date of filing.
